Peanut Hummus

  1. 1, 15 oz can chickpeas drained
  2. 1 cup salted shelled peanuts*
  3. 3 Tbsp peanut oil
  4. 3 Tbsp chicken broth or water
  5. 3 Tbsp lime juice
  6. fresh ground black pepper to taste
  7. 1/4 cup fresh chopped cilantro
  8. optional: hot peppers to taste
  9. garnish: smoked paprika, chopped peanuts.

In food processor place chick peas, peanuts, oil and broth or water. Process chunky smooth . Add cilantro and process to combine. Transfer to a bowl and garnish with sprinkles of smoked paprika and crushed peanuts. Serve with assorted flatbreads
