- Unpeeled medium shrimp
- Dry Mustard (like Colemans)
- Thyme
Put a layer of shrimp in a metal steamer basket (the mustard is difficult to clean off bamboo). Lightly sprinkle with the mustard. Sprinkle with a pinch of thyme. Repeat with a second layer if needed (don't do more than two layers). Place over boiling water, cover and steam 3 minutes. Stir the shrimp and steam another 3 or 4 minutes or until pink.
Serve plain or with cocktail sauce, tartar sauce, etc.
